Welcome to Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia.   Upon arrival at Chinggis Khan International Airport in Mongolia, you will meet your Michid Mongolia crew and transfer to a hotel, conveniently located in downtown Ulaanbaatar. Then take a short city tour. You will enjoy the military parade, traditional costume show “Deeltei Mongol” and the ceremony of Nine White Banner and traditional opera at the central square in the evening.

Meet with the guide and driver. Visit to the Naadam Festival stadium. The national holiday Naadam is not only famous among Mongolians but also in the world. Many tourists, guests and journalists come to Mongolia to take part. The official Opening Ceremony in the Central Stadium at 11 o’clock, stay around the Naadam court and enjoy 3 manly games: wrestling, archery and ankle bone shooting games. Get soaked into the holiday atmosphere, grab food and enjoy around our traditional culture. Naadam festival brings together the country’s sporting men and women from the remotest regions to compete at the national level in the capital city.

According to the fact, The Mongols always celebrated The Naadam in the countryside. Today we will drive to the horse racing area, “Khui doloon khudag”, which is located in located 30 km west of Ulaanbaatar. Racing horses are divided in 6 age division and you will see 1 or 2 divisions today. The racing distance depends on horses’ age. For example, two-year-old horses race 15 km, while the full-grown horses race 30km in the open field..

Today  we will drive to the 100  km  to reach the National Park Hustai Nuruu. This area is home to the Mongolian wild horse known as a Perzevalski horse (takhi). Enjoy small hiking and photographing the charming landscape and wildlife.

Drive to Terelj National Park.. have an explore to Turtle rock and enjoy the scenery of the area.  Continue the tour to the 13th-century complex, where you may feel yourself exploring ancient Mongolia. The entire complex aimed to show ancient tribe structure and their culture,  and  lifestyle. Drive to The Chinggis Khan’s Statue is 40m tall and is recognized as the tallest equestrian statue in the World. . Horse riding for an hour  an explore enjoy the scenery of the area. Dinner and overnight at the Tourist camp.

Early this morning, we will drive to Ulaanbaatar. Visit of a cashmere production factory, main craft of Mongolia. Than we will visit Mongolian State Department Store and black market.
